Everything at a glance
The Fitness Trainer A Certification is the expert tier of classic trainer education: pathophysiology & load management, neuroathletics, advanced biomechanics, and evidence-based practice. You train more demanding profiles safely and justify decisions with research rather than trends.
For you personally
You recognize red flags and load limits more clearly, manage training around known orthopedic limitations more wisely in a private context, and critically evaluate scientific claims — for yourself, partners, or ambitious recreational training.
For your career
You position yourself as a highly qualified fitness trainer for complex clients, medically adjacent settings (in cooperation with specialists), and as a springboard to Personal Training A, rehab, medical, or athletic specializations. Evidence literacy becomes a competitive advantage.
4 modules · 87 SC (187 SC without prior training) · about 87 study hours (187 without prior training) (1 SC = 1 study hour; calculated; content is being added step by step). Your new modules: • Pathophysiology & Load Management – e.g. disc, impingement, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies • Neuroathletics & CNS Control – sensory systems, proprioception, pain modulation, breathwork • Advanced Biomechanics – force curves, individual anatomy, analysis tools • Evidence-Based Training – study designs, guidelines, statistics, myth checks Prerequisite content (credited): • Anatomy, physiology, training science (C) • Biomechanics, periodization, assessment (B)

FAQ
The A Certification is for anyone who wants to go deep. It suits committed trainers preparing for special and edge cases, as well as ambitious trainees who want maximum optimization of their own training.
While the B Certification is the solid foundation (a private Grow Fit certificate with QR verification, not a government licence), the A Certification is our first advanced program. It goes significantly deeper, covers complex special cases, and equips you with expert-level knowledge.
With this depth of expertise you stand out professionally as a trainer. You can position and specialize yourself strongly and are well prepared for demanding roles in professional sport and fitness.
Yes, in principle. We review your documents in a recognition process. Admission to the A Certification requires successfully passing the Grow Fit B Certification final exam — free in this case. Content based on current guidelines, sources listed in the course.
